Ukrainian Labour Temple[edit]

Just flagging for you that your recent edit to the Ukrainian Labour Temple page is a good piece of writing, but expands the scope of the page in a way that's new, and makes it a bit confusing. The preexisting page was for the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Winnipeg. The History section you added focuses on the 1950 bombing of the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Toronto. I've left it there for the time being, but I think we need to decide how to correct this contradiction.

The page could be rewritten (and probably retitled) to be about Ukrainian Labour Temples (plural) in Canada, so that it could contain information on several prominent ones, as well as discuss their totaly scope—though given their association with the Association of United Ukrainian Canadians/Ukrainian Labour Farmer Temple Association, that history might be better suited to the Association's page. Alternatively, we could leave this page as just about the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Winnipeg, and expand the information about the bombing to make a new article about the 1950 bombing of the Ukrainian Labour Temple in Toronto.

I thought you might have an opinion on this, but I'm happy to make some decisions about changes myself if you don't. Thanks for your work! Handpigdad (talk) 21:16, 1 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

@Handpigdad Looking at it again, this is a clear mistake on my part. The incident has nothing to do with Ukrainian Labour Temple, Toronto as you say. Imo, the section needs to be deleted in its entirety and maybe a shorter version needs to be shifted to the AUUC article. — hako9 (talk) 10:34, 2 October 2023 (UTC)[reply]

HI Thank you for your recent edit on Alissa Quart. I have fixed the citation problem, as we were editing in real time. I wonder if that edit had been triggered by a bot?

@LoveElectronicLiterature It was a semi-assisted edit WP:HUGGLE. I only reverted due to the goodreads citation. See WP:GOODREADS. — hako9 (talk) 21:21, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Yes, sometimes Good reads can be a good citation. Is there someone I could talk to about the Huggle bot? LoveElectronicLiterature (talk) 21:25, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Here Wikipedia talk:Huggle/Feedback. But all edits done via huggle are essentially the actions of the editor who performed them. — hako9 (talk) 21:30, 18 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks![edit]

Thanks for fixing my reversion on Ambati Rayudu! I meant to restore the version that you ended up restoring, but I clicked the wrong link and accidentally restored a different edit instead. Thanks for catching that! Gottagotospace (talk) 19:33, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

No issue. Happens very often. — hako9 (talk) 19:37, 25 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi[edit]

I am a real person not just a username. The sarcastic comments about me at RFA are unexpected since I do not remember us ever crossing paths. Have we been cross with each other at some time? If I have somehow offended you I would like to apologize. Lightburst (talk) 18:16, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Why do you think my comments are sarcastic? They come deep down from a place in my heart. — hako9 (talk) 18:19, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Lightburst, you and I seldom agree, but to address hako9's gaslighting directly above, yes, they are being sarcastic, and yes, they will be page-blocked from that RFA if they mention you again. Floquenbeam (talk) 19:50, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
You'd have to read my mind to know whether it's gaslighting or genuine appreciation of Lighburst, no? — hako9 (talk) 20:10, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Not really; you're not quite as clever as you seem to think. Floquenbeam (talk) 20:21, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Speaking from experience? — hako9 (talk) 20:31, 3 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
