St Erasmus to St Elmo[edit]

Why was the link to St Erasmus piped as St Elmo? Why the change? --Richardson mcphillips (talk) 11:15, 2 June 2017 (UTC)[reply]

P.T. Barnum[edit]

Removed the 1835 entry to "P.T. Barnum and his circus start their first tour..." Barnum's first exhibition as a showman was exhibiting Joice Heth, a Black slave. She made her first appearance for Barnum at Niblo's Garden in New York on 10 August 1835. It certainly is not June 2, and it certainly is not a "circus". (see [2].) Racist and grotesque, but that is all. - Tim1965 (talk) 22:16, 2 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
