High Gothic[edit]
Ulamm, unfortunately you have begun edit warring. repeatedly deleting revisions by others and replacing them with your own text, and insulting me and other editors. Please try to comply with Wikipedia guidelines for civility and respecting the work of other editors. Thank you.SiefkinDR (talk) 18:35, 10 May 2023 (UTC)
"High Gothic" is the standard term in English for the period. See the Encyclopaedia Britannica article on High Gothic.(**) The text from the article that was moved to "Classic Gothic" should be returned to its original place.
Cordially, SiefkinDR (talk) 18:29, 1 May 2023 (UTC)
- Please see my answer on Talk:Classic Gothic#Restore "High Gothic"

- Your version of the article was long but wrong, because you had not understood that there are two parallel timetables. High Gothic is the central section of the division of Gothic style into three phases. Classic Gothic is the second section of the division of Gothic style in France into four phases. The criteria and temporal limits of these timetables differ. The differences have to be explained by Wikipedia, in each article on a style and in each article on a building.--Ulamm (talk) 18:25, 2 May 2023 (UTC)
