The Eurovision Song Contest (French: Concours Eurovision de la chanson), often known simply as Eurovision, is an international song competition organised annually by the European Broadcasting Union. Each participating country submits an original song to be performed live and transmitted to national broadcasters via the Eurovision and Euroradio networks, with competing countries then casting votes for the other countries' songs to determine a winner. "Feel the Passion" is a song by Albanian singer Aurela Gaçe. It was issued as a CD single on 15 April 2011 by EMI. The English-language pop and rock song was composed by Shpëtim Saraçi and written by Sokol Marsi. An accompanying music video premiered on the official YouTube channel of the Eurovision Song Contest on 16 March 2011. The song represented Albania in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 in Düsseldorf, Germany, after Gaçe won the pre-selection competition Festivali i Këngës with the Albanian-language version "Kënga ime". It failed to qualify for the grand final in fourteenth place marking the country's third non-qualification in the contest. During her show, Gaçe was accompanied by three backing vocalists and two instrumentalists, while the Albanian theme was visually amplified by the wings of a white and red coloured eagle on the LED screens. Greece participated in the Eurovision Song Contest 2013 with the song "Alcohol Is Free", written by Elias Kozas and Stathis Pahidis. The song was performed by the band Koza Mostra featuring Agathonas Iakovidis. The entry for the 2013 contest, which took place in Malmö, Sweden, was selected through a four-participant national final entitled Eurosong 2013 – a MAD show. Due to budget cuts facing the Hellenic Broadcasting Corporation (ERT) at the time, the selection process was a organised by a private music channel, MAD TV. (Full article...)
