Cartoon Network, often abbreviated as CN, is an American cable television channel owned by Warner Bros. Discovery. It is a part of The Cartoon Network, Inc., a division that also has the broadcasting and production activities of Boomerang, Cartoonito, Discovery Family, Adult Swim, and Toonami under its purview. The channel is headquartered at 1050 Techwood Drive NW in Atlanta, Georgia.

Founded by Betty Cohen (who was also appointed by Ted Turner as the first president of the network), the channel was launched on October 1, 1992, and primarily broadcasts animated television series, mostly children's programming, ranging from action to animated comedy. It currently runs from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. ET/PT daily (the sign-off time varies with holidays and special programming). Cartoon Network primarily targets children aged 6 to 12, while its early morning block Cartoonito is aimed at preschool-aged children, and evening block Adult Swim targets older teenagers and young adults aged 18 to 34.

Cartoon Network offers an alternate Spanish-language audio feed, either via a separate channel with the English audio track removed as part of a package of Spanish-language television networks sold by subscription providers, or a separate audio track accessible through the SAP option, depending on the provider. "The Ed-touchables" and "Nagged to Ed" is the first pair of episodes of the animated comedy television series Ed, Edd n Eddy that serves as a half-hour pilot episode for the show. It premiered on Cartoon Network in the United States on January 4, 1999, although it had originally been scheduled to air in November 1998. The series follows Ed (voiced by Matt Hill), Edd "Double D" (voiced by Samuel Vincent) and Eddy (voiced by Tony Sampson), three adolescent boys collectively known as "the Eds" and unofficially led by Eddy, who live in a suburban cul-de-sac. In "The Ed-touchables", the Eds try to earn money by hunting down the "serial toucher", who has been stealing the cul-de-sac children's belongings, while "Nagged to Ed" chronicles the Eds' first encounter with the obsessive Kanker Sisters, after they lure the Eds' into their trailer park home. Series creator Danny Antonucci directed both episodes, co-writing "The Ed-touchables" with Jono Howard and "Nagged to Ed" with Howard and Mike Kubat. The score was composed by Patric Caird, who went on to compose the scores for all of the series' episodes. Although Ed, Edd n Eddy was one of Cartoon Network's top-rated shows ever since its premiere and was largely well received, its pilot was met with mixed reviews. The episodes can be bought as part of various season home media releases.

Frylock, please. That was a computer simulation program. And it proved to me that you don't know what I like and what I like to do. And that is to tell you what to do. And you need to listen to what I say 'cause I'm gonna eat your brains!

Did you know...
