Stankoprom (Russian: Станкопром) is a Russian designer and manufacturer of machine tools based in Moscow. It was established in 2013 as part as Russia's Import substitution strategy to reduce the country's reliance on foreign-made machine tools.[1] It includes scientific centers as well as manufacturing plants.[2]
Stankoprom is part of the state-owned holding company Rostec, and it incorporates 14 machine tool manufacturers.[1]

Stankoprom Holding was established in 2013 on the initiative of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia and Rostec State Corporation as a system integrator of the Russian machine tool industry.[3] Stankoprom has the status of the parent organization of Rostec State Corporation in the field of machine tool construction and tool manufacturing.
In 2014 the consolidated assets of the holding were estimated at RUB 15 billion. The planned investments are about 30 billion rubles, of which own financial resources are 5.5 billion rubles, and 11 billion rubles are private investments and bank loans in the ratio of 50% to 50%.[4]
