Photograph caption dated March 8, 1932 reads, "Photo shows part of a throng of Mexican women and children at the station when they departed today on four trains for their native land. The repatriation pf the Mexican families, which had been cared for by the county welfare departments was directed by the departments and officials of the Mexican government. Many of the Mexicans will be taken back to their home towns."
