Our Statement of Ethics

Because EthicalWiki generally does not edit Wikipedia articles directly on behalf of our clients, our ethical approach to Wikipedia relies on earned reputation and trust within the Wikipedia community. Our work with each client serves as another demonstration of exceptional integrity and quality contributions, which in turn helps EthicalWiki serve all our clients.

To uphold our integrity, we ask all our clients to be honest and transparent, avoid omissions and work with us to bring Wikipedia articles up to exceptional standards. We encourage clients to bring articles up to the Good Article designation to ensure we have met exceptional standards as defined by Wikipedia's community.

EthicalWiki believes we serve our clients best by fostering positive, constructive and trusting long-term relationships with the volunteer Wikipedians that take an interest in your company. Our success and the results we bring to clients are built on a fundamental belief in doing what's right. We choose our clients carefully, avoid misleading or manipulative behavior, and require our clients sign a contractural statement of ethics.

For companies that want to do the right thing, EthicalWiki offers an alternative that is safe, respectful and compliant with legal guidelines for astroturfing and online disclosure. We have a genuine sense of mission in benefiting our clients, while supporting Wikipedia's mission to create neutral, reliably sourced content that provides fee knowledge on the internet.
